From New York to Venice, the huge and light sculptures by Justin Peyser landed on the lagoon, in the Seventeenth century halls of Palazzo Zenobio
The exhibition displays eight 'flat sculptures' made of metal sheets, created by the Peyser during his early artistic career, together with a series of full relief sculptures of ten 'characters/symbol' covered with different metals and heavily welded
The artist
Justin Peyser studied Visual & Environmental Studies at Harvard College; and painting at the Art Students League of NY and the Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna, Italy. He lives and works in New York City.
The video “...alla deriva”
The video, filmed by Marco Agostinelli, is a homage to the artist as well as to the cities of New York and Venice. To iron, fire and water.
It will be projected within the exhibition
